Life after life

Life after life / Kate Atkinson 529 pgs

Ursula Todd has a thing going...I'm not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing but, she seems to die pretty young.  But then she is born again. Each life is a little different and she clearly "remembers" enough to avoid the previous death.  After awhile, she is really kind of an odd child as she is coming up with ways to avoid the previous cause of her demise.  I will have to hop on the bandwagon with so many others and say that this is a great book.  Ursula continues to lead interesting lives.  They are very different and yet similar.  It is also interesting to see how those around her change. The absolute best part, for me, is how Atkinson ends life with "darkness falls." It makes it seem like maybe not that big of a deal plus we know Ursula is bound for something new in just another page.
