Cat Sense: How the new feline science can make you a better friend to your pet / John Bradshaw 307 pgs.
Cats have been pets for thousands of years. In earlier days mostly as pest control but now darlings of the Internet, they are the most popular pet. But there are still may things we don't know about them. Science has studied modern cats and this book reveals some findings. The detail here is a bit staggering. I found myself stopping every few pages because the dense material made it hard to stay motivated. Not that I didn't enjoy the book, because I certainly did but it was difficult for me to consume so much detail. Cat lovers will delight but the less devoted should probably skip this one.
