White Lines

White Lines by Tracy Brown p. 497

Jada and her sister have a pretty bad home life. They both end up leaving home at an early age. She turns to drugs and prostitution before she meets Born. They become best friends and after awhile it turns into a relationship. Unfortunately, she is exposed to her drug of choice when she becomes friends with the wife of Born's mentor. They party and do drugs. She tries her best to hide it but there's only so long you can hide a growing drug addiction.
This was my second time reading this book. I read it years ago when it was first published. It was just as good the second time around. I would definitely recommend this book.
