Treating people well: the extraordinary power of civility at work and in life by Lea Berman & Jeremy Bernard, 250 pgs.
Maybe it is time to reacquaint ourselves with the idea of civility. If you agree, this book will put you on track. Written by two former White House social secretaries they cover lots of topics like finding yourself unsure in a social situation, cooperating with co-workers, being trustworthy and loyal. The specific stories about White House events are fun to read and the advice here is solid.
