Milo has been reincarnated 9995 times because he just can't seem to get it right. When you get it right you become part of the cosmic soul. If you don't get it after 10,000 tries you become . . . nothingness? Milo just wants to be done with it all so he can spend eternity with Death, aka Suzie. So he keeps trying and hoping to finally succeed. Some lives are covered in great detail, others briefly, including a couple as insects. Even though a not-so-pleasant future for humanity is portrayed at the end, this is a fun story. The audiobook was well narrated by Mark Bramhall.
