Locke & Key: Heaven and Earth by Joe Hill, art by Gabriel Rodriguez, 72 pages
Hill and Rodriguez's phenomenal Locke & Key horror comic series ended in 2014, leaving fans like me despondent that such a fantastic tale had ended. But they released this short volume in August. Yay! This one combines three short stories of the Keyhouse's other keys, as well as a photo essay of Hill and Rodriguez visiting places in Massachusetts that inspired the town of Lovecraft, the setting for these stories. This is definitely not a starting place for readers (who should definitely pick up volume 1, Welcome to Lovecraft); rather it's an excellent morsel for fans who miss the phenomenal series.
