I wrote about this book a couple of years ago, and rereading it I definitely stand by my original post. My only additional note is that on a reread I was very struck by how intentional the execution of the books themes on perception vs identity were. Still a delightful book, and it was a lot of fun to discuss with Orcs & Aliens last night!
