Everything Happens for a Reason: And Other Lies I've Loved by Kate Bowler, 178 pages.
Bowler's moving account of her battle with stage IV colon cancer set against the backdrop of the prosperity gospel. The prosperity gospel holds that God shows his love to his true believers by rewarding them with the material gains that they desire. Colon cancer would not be an indication of God's love, and must be part of some other plan that God has for the author. An interesting book.
