The ocean at the end of the lane, by Neil Gaiman

I may be the sole librarian who hasn’t read any of the renowned Neil Gaiman’s books, either for adults or kids.  I thoroughly enjoyed this magical book.  Were the events real, or was it the attempt of a confused seven-year-old, who witnessed things he shouldn’t have been exposed to, to cope with adult, frightening situations.  The power of myth and magic cannot be underestimated.  In any case, I will be reading more.  178 pp.
