Gaiman retells Norse folklore and it reveals a lot about the strengths and weaknesses of the gods. These tales reveal how Thor got his hammer, how Loki can NOT keep himself out of trouble and how likely it is that gods will keep their word. I listened to the audio book which is read perfectly by the author. If you have an interest in mythology, this is a great primer.
