The Eternal Smile: Three Stories by Gene Luen Yang and Derek Kirk Kim, 170 pages.Fun, interesting stories by one of the best authors working in graphic lit. This is an earlier work from Yang, who has since written the excellent books American Born Chinese, Boxers, and Saints.
These were, as I said, interesting stories, but writing about them now, a month after I read them, I find that I could describe any of Yang's other books better even though I read them years ago. I really like the way Kim and Yang worked together on this book.
