Citizens of the green room: profiles in courage and self-delusion / Mark Leibovich 290 pg.
This collection of essays portray the elite of Washington D. C. and some who are mostly wannabe elites. Leibovich always has an interesting take in his political profiles and often reveals something a little different about our leaders and would-be leaders. Many of these portraits provide little known details or very real incidents that make you question your view of these people. The profile of Glen Beck tells of his precarious relationship with Fox News employers. The "compare and contrast" essay of Dick Cheney and John Edwards as vice presidential nominees is striking and pretty funny.
If you are interested in politics, politicians or the culture in Washington D. C., you will enjoy this book.
