Laughing Gas by P.G. Wodehouse 248 pp.
I adore Wodehouse's Jeeves stories. This, however, is not a Jeeves story and, unfortunately, falls a bit flat. When Reginald Swithin the Third Earl of Havershot and popular child movie star named Joey Cooley have dental work done at the same time in adjoining offices they somehow swap their "souls" while under laughing gas. Each now inhabits the other's body which sets up the story for humorous antics. Wodehouse does include some laugh-out-loud dialogue but as a whole this is far from his best work.
