Richard Feynman's life and career make for great reading. I have to admit, a lot of the physics included is beyond me. Getting a sense of Feynman's curiosity coupled with his amazing brain power make it obvious why he was such a success. He could have probably picked anything to study and made a difference but the story of his attraction to physics and the influence of a teacher are inspirational too.
